Exciting news glitter fans, pop cultural phenomenon and fashion icon Lady Gaga, has this week officially announced her new beauty brand Hause Laboratories.
Taking to social media this week, Gaga announced the launch date of Hause Laboratories, July 15, sharing with her Little Monsters her story of makeup, and how it made her feel beautiful both inside and outside, and eventually led to the creation of her own superhero alter ego that we all know today as Lady Gaga:
“When I was young, I never felt beautiful. And as I struggled to find a sense of both inner and outer beauty, I discovered the power of makeup.
I remember watching my mother put her makeup on every morning, basking in the glow of her power to put on her bravest face as the hard working woman she was. I then began to experiment with makeup as a way to make my dreams of being as strong as my mother become true.
It was then that I invented Lady Gaga. I found the superhero within me by looking in the mirror and seeing who I wanted to be.
Sometimes beauty doesn’t come naturally from within. But I’m so grateful that makeup inspired a bravery in me I didn’t know I had.
I’ve come to accept that I discovered my beauty by having the ability to invent myself and transform. They said I was just weird, but really, I was just Born This Way.

This Haus Laboratories announcement also came with it’s own trailer in which Gaga aptly states whilst dressed in a classic black, OTT, jumpsuit that:
“The last thing the world needs is another beauty brand… but that’s too bad”
Get it Gaga. Don’t let the grossly over saturated market get in the way of you paving your path to world domination, one lipstick at a time!
Following other successful celebrity beauty brands from the likes of Rhianna and the Kardashian clan, it was only a matter of time until Mother Monster, queen of all things overtly theatrical, released her own line of products.
In saying this, speculations surrounding Gaga’s imminent release of a number of makeup and beauty products has been circulating for months now; especially with the launch a blank webpage with the name Haus Beauty in January this year, and the lodging of a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for a cosmetics company under her company Ate My Heart Inc, during 2018.
So as I’m sure you can understand, her fans have been chomping at the bit for this announcement of when they can get their little monster claws on this well overdue beauty range.
We know that the Haus will originally open for preorders on this July 15th date, and that all products will be available to purchase across nine different countries exclusively through Amazon from September this year. She discussed her decision to be the first ever major beauty brand to launch exclusively with Amazon, as opposed to a more niche beauty company like Sephora, stating to Business of Fashion:
“There are companies that see me and what I stand for and the way that I view the world, and if it’s not perfectly in line with what they do … they’ll be like, ‘Can you just change half of the equation?’” Lady Gaga said. “The answer is no. No deal. No message of self-acceptance, no deal. This [deal with Amazon] was so wonderful because this was like, ‘Let’s make a deal, let’s make a deal to change the world with their beauty.’”

It has been announced that the cruelty free and vegan range will definitely include a range of limited edition kits containing products like the Glam Attack all-over liquid shimmer powder for long-wearing colour amplification, RIP Lip Liners that are highly pigmented lip pencils for an allover long lasting lipstick, and Le Riot Lip Gloss for ultra shiny lips.
Obviously we are hoping that on July 15th there will be a lot of bold colours, even more exclusive products, and a metric ton of glitter that will hopefully, but probably unlikely, help me look as good as Gaga does Every. Single. Damn. Day.
In my eyes, Gaga is the perfect human to be concocting her own gorj makeup range and though we have only seen snippets so far, I know Hause Laboratories will be –
